Updates

Calling all children in Mrs Atkins’ groups – we need your help!

Would all the children who attend Mrs Atkins groups, whilst they are at home, please help to create a new display for when we are back at school?

Could you please draw and cut out of cardboard a butterfly and paint or colour it in any way that you choose?

When we are back at school bring them in so they can be attached to a mobile that will be displayed outside the TLC.

You can make as many as you want – and they can be as big or small as you want!

Here are some my children and I have created. We used lollipop sticks down the middle of our wings but cardboard or a stick will work just as well.

You could even make your own for home. To make the mobile simply sellotape some string to the back of your butterfly (you may need to wrap it around the middle a few times and make a triangle shape on the back so they stay upright) and hang it onto a large stick.

Have fun and stay safe,

Mrs Atkins

More information about a PODs card

Parents Opening Doors

A card has been designed for families whom have a child or young person with a disability or additional need- this is not for all children only those with a disability or additional need. Written on the card states that the family may need to travel to safe place to exercise (i.e. not road side walks on housing estates), the child would need to accompany the family member in to the shop as the cannot be left alone.

How to get the card.

The family would need to register with POD’s, following this they would need to email Kerrie@podstelford.org explaining they have registered and they would like a card for their family. This will then enable the family within reason to go a little further for their exercise and somewhere safe and if approached they can show this card without having to explain.

Bella’s Drawing Competition

Bella is missing you all and is fed up of being stuck in the house! She is having her daily exercise and comes into school to see the children who are in but apart from that she is following the Government guidelines and staying at home to help save lives!

Bella would like to challenge you to draw, paint, sketch, collage, colour or sculpt a picture of her to display in school on her board. When you have completed the picture you can take a photograph and email it to a2134@telford.gov.uk and I will put them on the website.

Remember to think like Mr Farlow!

Good luck everyone, Bella is super excited to see your pictures!
