Honey Tomlinson – Head of Happiness
Waggy greetings!
My name is Honey Tomlinson. I live with your Headteacher, Mrs T. I am delighted to have been given the job of ‘Head of Happiness’ at Sir Alexander Fleming! I started in September 2023 and had very big paws to fill! My sister, Bella was your first school dog and I have taken her place. If I say so myself, I think I’m doing a rather paw-some job!
I am a friendly, kind and gentle dog who loves to be stroked and make people feel calm and happy. I like eating treats and my favourite thing in the world is when you throw a ball for me.
I can’t wait to meet you and help you become the very best you, you can be.
Facts about Honey
Honey is our school dog and she comes to school at least 4 times per week. She is a honey-coloured Cavapoo and her fur is hypoallergenic. Her birthday is 23rd January 2021 and she is 3 years old. She loves a ball and will spend all day playing fetch with the children. Honey also loves the beach.
Honey works in school and spend a lot of time in our Nurture rooms working closely with children. She has a very calming affect on the children, and they adore her. Honey is used within classrooms as a ‘privilege’ and the children are encouraged to walk her at break and lunchtime. She is also used in assembly and will start listening to readers soon.
