7 months ago Posted on 28th Apr 2023 by Kate Casswell C is for Community Last term, we were exploring our community and people who help us. On Tuesday, Amy, Tom and Shaun, our local police officers visited us and explained their job and how they keep us all safe. They showed us where people who broke the law were placed in the van to transport them to the station. We were also able to listen to the siren and see the lights flashing.

9 months ago Posted on 02nd Mar 2023 by Kate Casswell What a wonderful day at Blists Hill! We were so proud of our Reception children today. They represented our school perfectly – staying SAFE; being SUCCESSFUL with the long walk; having PRIDE in their work at the school; showing RESPECT to others around the town and being BRAVE when we went in the dark mine. The children enjoyed learning about life in the past, and how different it is now. Can they tell you something that is different?
