Remembrance in Reception

‘We wear poppies because of the soldiers, some of them died, but some didn’t.’

‘We’re thinking about the soldiers who were in the war and died. There are poppy wreaths. A man wrote a poem about the poppy fields and he saw some bright red poppies in a field when they’d finished fighting.’

‘It was scary for the animals in the war’.

Home learning challenges for Reception

Reception Home Learning Tasks WC 22.6.20

Good morning every one. We hope you are keeping well and staying safe. It’s been lovely seeing your work on see saw and meeting every one in class (week A). I know week B will be equally exciting and every one is looking forward to meeting you again this morning.

This week’s tasks are all about counting on and addition plus some great phonic activities to keep you all busy. Copies will be placed in the main reception area from 10am this morning.

Reception Home Learning Activities

Thank you everyone, for all your lovely photos on seesaw. We love to see them completing their learning activities and having fun playing at home.
This weeks home learning packs will be left in the main reception area in a box labelled ‘reception’ as you walk in on the display cabinet.
This week, they will be ready to collect from 10am.
